Jessica Flewelling, is a limited licensed master social worker. She uses a client centered approach to aid children, adolescents, adults and couples with stress, relationship conflicts, difficult life transitions, past trauma, and sense of self issues. She has specialties working with children and families in foster care/adoption, as well as working with adoptive/foster/biological parents. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
She believes in creating a safe, welcoming place where people can become empowered, heal and grow.

James Mangan, Counseling Intern
As a staff therapist intern for Brighter Health Counseling, James is passionate
about helping people find meaning and support in the face of life’s difficulties.
James has experience in a variety of counseling settings where he has learned
the importance of offering empathy and support to others as they wrestle with the deeper questions of life, such as: Who am I? What is my purpose? Why am I
suffering? Can things get better?
James practices client-centered therapy and is experienced in helping others
navigate many different issues, including, but not limited: depression, anxiety,
grief, forgiveness, identity work, meaning, purpose, life goals, vocational issues,
relationships, faith issues, spiritual distress, overwhelming feelings, and inner
peace.
