Jessica Flewelling, is a limited licensed master social worker. She uses a client centered approach to aid children, adolescents, adults and couples with stress, relationship conflicts, difficult life transitions, past trauma, and sense of self issues. She has specialties working with children and families in foster care/adoption, as well as working with adoptive/foster/biological parents. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
She believes in creating a safe, welcoming place where people can become empowered, heal and grow.

Nora Zeagler, Intern
Nora Zeagler is a graduate student at Spring Arbor University preparing for her Master of Arts in Counseling. Nora comes to Brighter Health with life experiences including having raised two daughters, hosted multiple diverse women from other cultures and working a full career for the MSU Libraries where among other duties she mentored and supported college students. Her interests include helping a diverse population of young people and adults heal from traumatic stress, depression, women’s issues, military and veteran concerns, grief, and loss.
Nora’s strengths include empathy, reflective listening and respect for diversity and inclusion. It is her primary goal to assist clients move toward their best life in the areas of mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. She stands on the belief that therapy is a chance to take a breath and look at one’s life in the mirror counseling offers. From this vantage point she gives clients the chance to explore their lives and relationships to foster self-knowledge and emotional acceptance in areas where they may feel traumatized or stuck so they can become who they are meant to be and reach toward their full potential and enjoyment of life.
