As a therapist, Amy enjoys strengthening an individual’s wellbeing using various therapy strategies, including Person-Centered Therapy (self-discovery and growth), Solution-Focused Therapy (empowering and strengthening the here and now), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) (thoughts vs. emotions and behaviors), Motivational Interviewing (MI) (internal motivation to make change), and Mindfulness techniques (awareness and acceptance of living in the moment).
