Megan firmly believes that every person has the capacity to improve their mental health. Therapy has immensely improved her own outlook on life, and she considers it a privilege to walk with others in their own healing processes. She follows a strength-based approach, in which your values, abilities, and all the things that make you you are highlighted, celebrated, and used to guide you on your mental health journey. She empowers each individual she works with to be able to confidently address difficult feelings, trauma, relationship problems, and life transitions.

Megan primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She has experienced practicing the Trauma-Focused CBT model with trauma survivors under 18. She emphasizes psychoeducation to deconstruct stigma and provides practical strategies including mindfulness, communication skills, and

self-advocacy tools.

When you work with Megan, you are in the driver's seat. She is here to empower you in the journey and to help you navigate life's winding roads, but ultimately, you are in control of your treatment. She provides a warm environment in which you are welcome to laugh, cry, and be yourself. She has immediate availability and can see individuals ages 10 and up!
