Angelia Smith
LLMSW
(In-Person or Online) Works primarily with: Children, Adults, and Families

Angelia believes therapy should be a safe, supportive, and authentic space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are without fear of judgment. She approaches counseling with warmth, compassion, and collaboration, walking alongside clients as they navigate challenges, recognize their strengths, and move toward healing and personal growth. Her desire is for each client to feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the counseling process.

She is passionate about working with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds, especially those experiencing trauma, anxiety, behavioral challenges, or difficult life transitions. Angelia understands that every healing journey is unique and believes each person’s story deserves patience, care, and respect. She strives to meet clients where they are while creating a space that feels safe, meaningful, and encouraging.

For clients who desire it, Angelia also incorporates a faith-based perspective into therapy, thoughtfully blending spiritual principles with evidence-based practices to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. She is Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) trained and works with concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family conflict, forgiveness, and inner healing. Above all, Angelia believes that even in life’s most difficult seasons, hope and healing are possible, and she would be honored to support you in your journey toward growth and restoration.
